You may be at a point in your life where you are seeking help from a professional, to gain support from, to explore your issues and problems with, in a confidential, non-judgmental environment. You might be curious about counselling and psychotherapy in general and would like to gather more information. You might be looking for help for a friend or family member you have concerns about. You might be feeling low or struggling with relationships and are looking for a way to change your life, explore your feelings, thinking patterns and the way you relate to others and the world.


Whichever reasons have brought you here today, or have brought you to seek counselling and psychotherapy is ok. We are now living in a world that is becoming more accepting and open to talking therapy. Improving our mental health and wellbeing is becoming a priority for many people, including you, and having counselling sessions is thankfully becoming normalised. Wouldn't it be beneficial for so many individuals if having talk therapy was seen to be as "normal" as visiting your GP. We visit a doctor or medical professional when we are feeling physically unwell, so visiting a counsellor, or psychotherapist, when you are feeling emotionally or psychologically strained is proactive and acceptable. Thankfully, now in the year of 2020, the stigma around mental health is starting to lift. Old, outdated beliefs are changing into a more accepting society.
